The initial treatment of vulvar cancer is based on surgery, supplemented by chemotherapy and radiation therapy. Vulvar cancer is a rare malignant tumor of female reproductive system, which grows on the vulva, such as labia majora, labia minora, clitoris and other parts. Surgery is preferred for early stage vulvar cancer, and the scope of surgery needs to be decided according to the stage of vulvar cancer. After surgery, further treatment such as radiotherapy and chemotherapy should be decided according to the pathological condition. Commonly used chemotherapy drugs include cisplatin, fluorouracil and mitomycin. Radiotherapy is suitable for patients with vulvar squamous cell carcinoma, and postoperative radiotherapy is usually carried out within 6~8 weeks after surgery. If vulvar cancer is diagnosed in early stage, it is recommended to consult the doctor in time, standardize the treatment and follow the doctor’s prescription.
