The bone in the pubic area is called the pubic bone. It is at the highest part of the pubic area, right in the center of the pubic hair, the pubic mound. The pubic mound and below it is the pubic symphysis. The pubic symphysis, where the left and right pubic bones meet, is a fibrous joint, or a joint with very little mobility. Among the left and right pubic bones, there are upper and lower branches of the pubic bone, which extend outward and deeper respectively. Below and behind the perineum, this area is the sciatic bone. The sciatic tuberosity is often referred to as the bony prominence of the sciatic bone. In adults, the pubic bone on the left and right sides, as well as the sit bones, and also the iliac bone on the upper side, fuse to form a single hip bone. The bones of the pubic area can be answered in general terms as the hip bone, which is connected in the front by the pubic symphysis and in the rear by the sacroiliac joint with the sacrum, forming the pelvis.
