There are 3 methods of tubal recanalization.
1.Hysteroscopic tubal recanalization
2.X-ray tubal recanalization
3.Laparoscopic or open tubal recanalization Lei Juan, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Longnan Hospital, Daqing
Hysteroscopic tubal recanalization
Advantages: easy to see the opening of the fallopian tube under direct vision and convenient to operate
Disadvantages.
1.It is not easy to find the damage during recanalization – tubal perforation
2. Cannot understand the site of tubal failure
3.It is not easy to understand the degree of patency after tubal recanalization
Laparoscopic or open tubal recanalization
Advantages.
1.Accurate visualization of the anatomical position of the fallopian tubes
2. Separate the adhesions around the fallopian tubes
3, suitable for tubal effusion and tubal atresia stoma
Disadvantages.
1.High cost of laparoscopy and need for anesthesia
2.Large open trauma
3.Limited scope of recanalization, suitable for tubal atresia
X-Ray tubal recanalization
Advantages.
1, to understand the site of fallopian tube failure and lumen morphology
2.To understand the degree of patency of the fallopian tube after recanalization – patency, patency but not patency, patency but not patency, and then to understand the peristaltic function of the fallopian tube
3.Discover the damage during recanalization – tubal perforation in time
Disadvantage: receiving X-rays, poor effect on atresia of the umbilical end of the fallopian tube
