Postpartum heel pain can routinely be referred to orthopedics, pain medicine and obstetrics. Postpartum heel pain is mostly due to unrecovered body condition, calcium deficiency, exposure to cold or acute trauma. If the pain is caused by a lack of recovery, then you can usually go to the obstetrics department for a review to see what the cause is and whether you need to take calcium supplements to treat the pain. If the pain is due to postpartum exposure to cold, keep warm and soak your feet in hot water to relieve the pain. If the pain is more severe, then consider whether it is an acute trauma, which can go to the orthopedic department or pain department. If heel pain occurs after childbirth, you need to consult a doctor in time to identify the cause of the symptomatic treatment, and usually eat a diet rich in protein and high calcium content of food.
