Cholecystitis does not usually directly trigger stomach pain, but it may still do so if treatment is not intervened in a timely manner over a long period of time. First, cholecystitis can affect several organs of the body, and in some cases it does affect the patient’s stomach and intestines to some extent, and symptoms such as stomach pain, bloating and indigestion may occur. Secondly, if there is a reflux of bile into the intestines and stomach, which causes irritation to the gastric mucosa, it is also possible to cause stomach pain and may eventually form bile reflux gastritis. It is recommended that if a patient has stomach pain, it is best to have a timely examination to avoid the possibility of inflammation of the digestive system, and to actively treat cholecystitis, which can be treated with oral amoxicillin, levofloxacin and other drugs, with a low-cholesterol diet and control of cholecystitis, in order to better control stomach pain.
