What’s wrong with your heart when you wake up?

If the patient feels uncomfortable with his heart after waking up from sleep, this condition may be due to poor sleep quality or insomnia or difficulty in falling asleep, and the patient will have heart discomfort when waking up the next morning. Consider that the patient may currently have insufficient myocardial blood supply, and do not exclude that this discomfort may be caused by disorders in the regulation of vegetative nerves, or cardiac neurosis. When discomfort strikes, it is best to measure the heart rate and blood pressure and do an electrocardiogram to help clarify whether the patient currently has insufficient myocardial blood supply. If the blood pressure is relatively high when the heart is uncomfortable after waking up, it cannot be ruled out that the heart pressure load is increased due to high blood pressure, thus inducing the symptoms of heart discomfort. The use of antihypertensive drugs can be adjusted appropriately for the patient, and antihypertensive drugs can be added once at night or before going to bed, and the blood pressure may be normal when waking up in the early morning.
