Flying mosquito in the eye with eye patches is not effective. The vast majority of patients have physiologic vitreous clouding which can be referred to as floaters. The more severe clouding is caused by vitreous degeneration or posterior vitreous detachment. At present, we can consider the treatment through the point of iodine peptide eye drops, lecithin complex iodine oral or take Chinese herbal medicine, but in fact the clinical effect is not very satisfactory. In addition, some patients’ vitreous clouding may be caused by various diseases of the eye, which must be clarified after the cause of the symptomatic treatment. Eye patches may have a certain effect on the relief of eye fatigue, but for the restoration of vision, the treatment of flying mosquito has no definite effect.
