The color of bleeding from rhinitis is the same as that of bleeding from nasal cancer, which can be bright red or dark red. Bleeding from rhinitis is mostly due to the stimulation of nasal mucosa by disease-causing factors, which leads to thinning of mucosa, together with abundant blood vessels under the mucosa, when blowing the nose slightly or forcefully, the mucosa breaks, the blood vessels rupture, and the blood flows out, so the blood flowing out from chronic rhinitis is usually bright red. Nasal cancer refers to malignant tumor of nasal cavity and sinus, when the tumor grows and breaks down, it can be bright red or dark red, when the bleeding is due to the tumor causing local blood vessel rupture of mucous membrane, then it is bright red, but most of the bleeding is common in the early morning when the blood is stored in the nasal cavity for a period of time, and usually the color is dark red or black which is often more obvious when waking up in the morning. The color of nosebleed alone can not accurately determine the cause of nosebleed, but also need to combine with the characteristics of the medical history, other test results to make an accurate judgment, it is recommended to clarify the cause of the disease under the guidance of the doctor.
