The symptoms of varicose veins vary according to their location. Varicose veins in the lower limbs can cause pain in the limbs, varicose veins in the spermatic cord can cause pain in the scrotum, varicose veins in the esophagogastric fundus can cause loss of appetite, and varicose veins in the orbital region can cause protrusion of the eyeballs. 1.
