Sub-solid lung nodules may be lung cancer, pneumonia or tuberculosis. 1. Sub-solid lung nodules with high density in the middle similar to solid nodules and relatively low density in the periphery similar to ground-glass nodules are in line with the characteristic of irregular growth of cancer cells from the middle to the surrounding, and the probability of cancerous transformation is more than 50%, or even up to more than 70%, and surgery is recommended when there are indications for surgery. 2. Sub-solid lung nodules are also partly scars formed by pneumonia, tuberculosis or other factors that damage lung tissues. If symptoms such as coughing and compression of bronchial tubes occur, or if malignancy cannot be ruled out clinically, surgical resection should also be considered. For sub-solid pulmonary nodules, patients are advised to go to the thoracic surgery department of the hospital for further consultation and treatment as soon as possible.
