The following aspects are mainly considered to cause patients to be dizzy: 1. It may be caused by elevated blood pressure. Patients with hypertension may experience chest tightness, dizziness, lightheadedness and headache if their blood pressure is higher than 140/90 mmHg, and it is recommended that patients regularly apply antihypertensive drugs to avoid aggravation of atherosclerosis. 2. Dizziness may also be related to patients’ emotions. If the patient has anxiety and depression, especially in menopausal female patients, they may be prone to dizziness, depressed mood, decreased nature of things around them, nervousness and restlessness. 3. If the elderly are dizzy, consider that it is caused by atherosclerosis of the brain arteries or blood in a high-fat and high-viscosity state.
