Plantar fasciitis is generally referred to as plantar fasciitis, or plantar fasciitis. The causes of plantar fasciitis may be related to physiologic factors such as congenital flat feet and congenital high arched feet, as well as pathologic factors such as diabetes, obesity, prolonged standing or walking, and so on.
1. Physiological factors
If the patient suffers from congenital flat feet or congenital high arched feet, it may induce plantar fasciitis.
2. Pathologic factors
(1) Diabetes mellitus: For patients with diabetes mellitus, plantar fasciitis may also be induced. Diabetic patients, generally because of the foot small blood vessel occlusion will lead to localized ischemia of the fascia, when fatigue or standing for a long time, it is easy to cause plantar fasciitis.
(2) Obesity: Obesity is a chronic metabolic disease, often due to energy intake exceeds energy consumption, resulting in excessive fat accumulation and overweight. Due to the excessive weight of obesity, it will bring greater pressure on the plantar fascia, causing plantar fasciitis.
(3) Prolonged standing or walking: due to prolonged standing or walking, the plantar fascia or muscles are in a long-term high load working condition, causing repeated pulling injury to the plantar fascia and its stops, causing aseptic inflammation and leading to plantar fasciitis.
Plantar fasciitis may also have other causes such as long-term cold, chronic strain, etc. It is recommended to go to the regular hospital in time to improve the relevant examinations, to clarify the cause of the disease, and then under the guidance of the doctor to carry out targeted treatment or therapy.
