It is helpful to use nebulized inhalation treatment for rhinitis. Generally, glucocorticoids are used because of their good anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effects and their ability to act directly on the surface of the nasal mucosa, which is not prone to systemic side effects. However, as this treatment is more time-consuming and laborious, it is rather less convenient than using glucocorticoid-based nasal sprays. In the case of chronic rhinitis, it can be combined with saline rinses of the nasal cavity. In the case of allergic rhinitis, short-term anti-allergy medication should be applied to provide quick relief from sneezing and runny nose. For chronic rhinitis that does not work with medication, surgical treatment is required in combination with CT of the nose and nasal endoscopy as an option.
