Teeth shake but do not fall out may be loose teeth, periodontitis, dental trauma, apical periodontitis, tumors and so on can cause loose teeth.
1. Periodontitis: a disease of oral infection, which mainly invades the gums and periodontal tissues. The severity of periodontitis has a certain relationship with the loosening of teeth. Initial symptoms are usually not obvious, usually only bleeding gums or bad taste in the mouth, with the depth of inflammation, it will lead to alveolar bone resorption, resulting in loose teeth.
2. Tooth trauma: due to the strength of the impulse, the tooth will produce loosening or fracture, and when the root is fractured, it will often produce loosening, and the closer the fracture location is to the neck of the tooth, the higher the degree of loosening and the worse the prognosis.
3. Periapical inflammation: acute periapical inflammation, the tooth will suddenly loosen, there is a feeling of elongation, do not dare to bite, after a period of time in the acute period, the tooth will be stabilized. Chronic apical periodontitis, due to the apical lesion is larger or to the root side of the development, resulting in more periodontal tissue damage, will lead to tooth loosening.
4. Masses in the jawbone: Benign masses or cysts in the jawbone are slow-growing and can squeeze the teeth or cause root resorption, leading to gradual loosening of the teeth. Malignant tumors can cause extensive destruction of the jawbone and can cause a large number of teeth to loosen and shift in a very short period of time.
The presence of wobbly teeth without a clear cause requires prompt medical attention and treatment.
