How to make wine with Cistanche

The Chinese herb Cistanches has the function of warming the kidneys and strengthening the yang, laxative and moistening the dryness. Cistanches are generally soaked in about ten pounds of wine, which can be used for 50-100 grams. Wash the Cistanches and soak it in white wine above 50 degrees for 1-3 months, then drink it. Generally, Cistanches is often combined with deer antler, wolfberry, mealybug and seahorse, which are warming herbs for kidney yang, to make wine with better effect. However, it is not advisable to drink more than one of these herbs to nourish the kidney and yang, just drink about 20ml (half a tael) each time.
