What are the early dark red dots of syphilis?

Small dark red dots in the early stages of syphilis may be either a hard chancre or a syphilis rash. The hard chancre is characteristic of stage 1 syphilis and the syphilis rash is characteristic of stage 2 syphilis. The chancre is a painless inflammatory papule, dark red in color, which may gradually enlarge to form a hard nodule, after which ulceration may occur. It usually occurs in the genital area, such as the coronary groove, penis, scrotum and prepuce of men; and in the labia, clitoris and cervix of women, and may be accompanied by swollen lymph nodes. Syphilis rash lesions lack of specificity, can be manifested as erythema, papules, nodules, pustules, etc., usually in the skin, mucous membranes, but also can involve the internal organs, etc., can be accompanied by systemic symptoms, such as muscle pain, general malaise and so on. If you suspect that you have syphilis, you should go to a regular hospital as soon as possible to avoid delay.
