The hepatitis B vaccine is used clinically to immunize against hepatitis B. It is also made by extracting the surface antigen of hepatitis B. The extraction is done by recombinant genetic methods. The surface antigen of hepatitis B, 2000ng/ml, is not something to be particularly worried about, but should be more concerned about whether there are any abnormalities in the body, including liver function and the general shape of the liver, which are not reflected by the amount of hepatitis B surface antigen.
