The average size of a nodule from nasopharyngeal cancer lung metastases

Nodules of nasopharyngeal carcinoma lung metastasis vary in size, and the initial lung metastasis tumors are relatively small, with almost no effect on respiratory function and without any clinical manifestations. Lung is a common target organ for tumor cell bloodstream metastasis. When tumor lung metastasis occurs, patients mostly show symptoms such as hemoptysis, dyspnea, chest tightness and shortness of breath, fever and so on. After nasopharyngeal cancer lung metastasis, nodules of different sizes will be formed in the metastatic foci, without specific lesion size. And in the early stage of metastasis, patients mostly have no obvious clinical manifestations. When the metastatic foci increase in size, or invade important airways and blood vessels, hemoptysis, dyspnea, chest pain and other manifestations may appear. If it compresses the recurrent laryngeal nerve, it may cause hoarseness and other manifestations. Lung is a common distant metastatic organ of nasopharyngeal cancer patients, and there is no clear standard for the size of metastatic foci, so it is recommended that nasopharyngeal cancer patients go to regular hospitals in time, follow the diagnostic and treatment advice of specialists, cooperate with the treatment actively, and make regular follow-up visits.
