Clinical manifestations: The main symptoms of gastric prolapse are upper abdominal distension and drop-like pulling pain, aggravated by satiety and walking in, and alleviated by lying down.
According to Chinese medicine, gastric prolapse is located in the stomach and is caused by weakness of the spleen and stomach, deficiency of middle qi, weakness of lifting and lowering of qi. Treatment: To strengthen the spleen, benefit Qi and raise Yang. The formula is based on tonifying Zhong Yi Qi Tang. The clinical evidence gives a large dosage of Huang Qi, giving more than 30g/day for adults, and if abdominal distension is heavy, fried Citrus aurantium shell or Citrus aurantium can be added. It should be noted that this disease is a Qi deficiency and the treatment period should be long, usually up to 1-2 months. Patients should take the medication along with dietary regulation, eating less and more often, with a diet based on light and easily digestible food.
