Patient: I started to have pain on the inner side of my right leg joint in August 2009. I was examined for a chondroma and am now undergoing physical therapy, but the results are not obvious. Osteochondroma is usually an extra-articular lesion and does not affect the movement of the joint. However, long-term friction between the tumor and the surrounding tendons and bursae may lead to bursitis or aseptic inflammation, which may cause pain and affect joint movement. Surgery is recommended for symptomatic osteochondrosarcoma.
