Pediatric chondromas are bony protrusions and masses that grow near the joints, usually as a result of abnormal bone growth and malformations during childhood development. Chondrosarcoma is a benign tumor that occurs near the knee joint, distal femur and proximal tibia, and is usually asymptomatic in early stages.
