Laparoscopic steps for sigmoid colon

Laparoscopic sigmoidopexy steps: First, after the patient has completed the relevant laboratory tests and examinations, local or general anesthetic drugs are given. Second, the skin and surrounding area that will be used locally are disinfected, generally up to the line of both nipples, down to the upper third of the thigh, and on both sides to the mid-axillary line. The local skin of the left side of the abdomen is incised with a razor blade, and the laparoscope is passed into the abdominal cavity along the incision to locate the diseased bowel. The diseased intestine was removed laparoscopically and the remaining intestine was sutured. The local surface skin was then sutured and the patient’s vital signs such as ECG, oxygen saturation, blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature were assessed. Once the vital signs are stable, bed rest for a few days is sufficient.
