Acupuncture points that can elevate yang include Zhiyang, Baihui and Vital Points.
1. Zhiyang is located in the spinal region, in the depression below the spinous process of the 7th thoracic vertebra, on the posterior midline. It is used for treating jaundice, distention and fullness of the chest and ribs, cough, asthma, and pain in the lower back.
2. Baihui, located on the head, 5 inches straight up from the center of the front hairline. It is used for treating dementia, stroke, aphasia, insomnia, forgetfulness, headache, dizziness, tinnitus, prolapse of the anus, prolapse of the uterus or even the vaginal opening, gastroptosis, and ptosis of the kidneys.
3. Vital gate, located in the spinal region, the 2nd lumbar vertebra in the depression under the spinous process, the rear center line. It is used for treating strong pain in the lumbar spine, impotence and paralysis of the lower limbs (weakness, numbness and pain in the lower limbs), menstrual disorders, dysmenorrhea, dysmenorrhea, menstrual occlusion, infertility, ejaculation, impotence, infertility with coldness of semen, frequent urination, coldness and pain in the lower abdomen, and diarrhea.
