Symptoms of Aneurysm

Common types of aneurysms in human body include intracranial aneurysm, abdominal aortic aneurysm, thoracic aortic aneurysm, common femoral artery aneurysm, etc. Clinical manifestations of different types of aneurysms are also different. 1. Intracranial aneurysm: if the volume of aneurysm is small and it has not ruptured, there is usually no symptom. If the aneurysm is large in size, it may compress the surrounding nerve tissue and cause focal neurological symptoms, such as dizziness, limb numbness and dyskinesia, blurred vision, etc. If the aneurysm ruptures and bleeds, the patient will suffer from the symptoms. If the aneurysm ruptures and bleeds, the patient will feel severe headache, nausea, vomiting, blurred consciousness, etc., which will threaten the patient’s life. 2. Abdominal aortic aneurysm: most of the patients do not have any symptom after the disease, and it will be found during physical examination. When the aneurysm is large in size and compresses the surrounding organs, corresponding compression symptoms will appear. If the abdominal aortic aneurysm ruptures and bleeds, the patient will feel severe abdominal pain and go into shock in a short time, which will seriously threaten the patient’s life. 3. Thoracic aortic aneurysm: patients usually have no symptoms in the early stage of the disease. When the volume increases, it will press the surrounding tissues and cause compression symptoms. Some patients may have chest pain, which may radiate to the neck, shoulder blade and back. When the thoracic aneurysm ruptures, the patient may feel severe chest pain or the chest pain may increase suddenly. 4. Aneurysm of common femoral artery: patients are usually asymptomatic. When the aneurysm compresses the femoral nerve, the patient may feel pain in the lower limbs. If the aneurysm is accompanied by thrombosis, the patient may have claudication, lower limb hypothermia and other manifestations. For patients diagnosed with aneurysm, they should go to the relevant departments of regular hospitals as soon as possible for consultation and treatment, so as to avoid delaying the condition and leading to adverse consequences.
