The three locations of pain from bowel cancer are usually referred to as rectal cancer, ascending colon cancer and sigmoid colon cancer. Bowel cancer, also known as colorectal cancer, triggers different pain locations with different names depending on the location of the disease. 1. Rectal cancer: the pain location is mostly in the lower abdomen, accompanied by the symptom of frequent urination and urgency, while male rectal cancer may cause bladder irritation sign if it invades into the prostate gland, and female rectal cancer may lead to increase in vaginal secretion or bloody secretion if it invades into the vagina. 2. Ascending colon cancer: the pain site is mostly on the right side of abdomen, accompanied by abdominal mass, anemia, fatigue and so on. 3. Sigmoid colon cancer: the pain is mostly in the left lower abdomen, which is often vague and painful, accompanied by abdominal distension. It is suggested that patients need to consult doctor in time to avoid aggravating the condition when there is pain.
