What to do if you have a small pellet on your upper eyelid

Small particles growing on the upper eyelid may be conjunctival stones, fat particles, blocked lid glands or wheals, which can be treated with sterile needles, hot compresses as well as antibiotic eye drops according to different causes.
1. Conjunctival stones: Conjunctival stones are mostly white particles on the inner side of the eyelid, and do not need to be treated if they are small in size; if they are large in size and cause irritation to the eyes, they can be picked out with a sterile needle under surface anesthesia.
2. Fat grains: Fat grains are white particles located on the outside of the eyelids, mostly seen in people with oily skin, which can be picked out with a sterile needle after local disinfection.
3. Blepharoplakia: When the blepharoplakia is blocked, secretions and lipids from the blepharoplakia accumulate at the opening of the blepharoplakia and form small particles, which can be treated by applying hot compresses or opening the opening of the blepharoplakia with a sterile needle.
4. granuloma: if the upper eyelid particles at the same time, accompanied by redness, swelling, heat and pain, it is considered granuloma, can be treated by antibiotic eye drops in the way of treatment, common drugs have tobramycin eye drops.
