There is no need to worry about bowel adhesions after 2 weeks after appendicitis surgery.
The probability of intestinal adhesion after appendicitis surgery is not high. If you have paroxysmal or vague pain in the lower abdomen, fever, or abnormal bowel movement within 2 weeks after surgery, you should be investigated for intestinal adhesions. If there is no such symptom within 2 weeks after appendicitis surgery and the bowel movement is relatively smooth, bowel adhesion will not occur.
When the abdomen after appendicitis surgery, the incision will produce some local edema or inflammatory exudate, will form an inflammatory adhesion band, generally after 2 weeks after the operation, the local inflammation or edema will be completely normalized, and it will not be easy to occur in the later stage of intestinal adhesion.
