The most common complication in interventional procedures is blood vessel injury that leads to rupture of the blood vessel and bleeding. If the brain undergoes interventional surgery there is damage to the cerebral blood vessels, the possibility of cerebral hemorrhage will occur. If the amount of bleeding is relatively large it can lead to severe dizziness, headache, nausea, vomiting or even coma, and the formation of brain hernia. If there is a very strong compression of the brain stem, even central respiratory failure can occur and lead to death. If the cardiac intervention surgery may damage the coronary arteries of the heart and lead to bleeding, such a situation can also easily cause bleeding in the coronary arteries, leading to abnormal heartbeat, or even malignant arrhythmia and life-threatening.
