Why Chronic Nephritis Heals Itself

A small number of patients with chronic nephritis can be cured on their own, but most of them have prolonged condition and most of the lesions will progress slowly. Some patients with chronic nephritis will eventually develop chronic renal failure. The rate of progression of lesions in patients with chronic nephritis varies widely, and renal pathologic changes are an important factor affecting the progression of chronic nephritis patients. However, it is also very closely related to whether or not renal protection is emphasized and whether or not complications and aggravating factors are treated promptly and appropriately. Chronic nephritis, such as membranous nephropathy, studies have shown that about 30% of patients can recover spontaneously, which may be related to the elimination of the causative factors or the spontaneous remission of related pathogenic factors in the body.
