Can excess lead cause high uric acid

Excessive lead has not been found to cause high uric acid.
Excessive blood lead is the amount of lead in a patient’s blood that exceeds the upper limit of the normal reference range. Excessive blood lead in varying degrees can cause the patient to have problems such as decreased nerve conduction speed, impaired hemoglobin synthesis, low immunity, decreased IQ level, personality changes, hearing and vision loss, etc. However, no reliable scientific evidence has been found that excessive blood lead can directly cause elevated blood uric acid in this patient.
Elevated blood uric acid may be related to heredity, congenital enzyme defects, high-purine diet, high-sugar diet, alcohol consumption, diseases and medications.
Patients with high uric acid can go to endocrinology, rheumatology and immunology departments of regular hospitals for detailed consultation.
