What’s wrong with bleeding before your period?

Bleeding occurs every menstrual period and is categorized into physiological and pathological. There are two types of physiological bleeding: the first is pre-menstrual bleeding after high stress and overwork; the second is mid-menstrual bleeding, known as ovulation bleeding. These two cases basically do not need to be dealt with, it is recommended to let nature take its course and slowly recover. Pathological conditions are commonly found in three cases: the first case is caused by diseases, such as cervical erosion, cervical polyps, cervical fibroids, submucous fibroids, uterine fibroids, endometriosis, ovarian tumors and so on; the second case, the side effects of birth control rings; and the third case, cervical surgery after the operation, the bleeding of desquamated period. For the above three causes, it is recommended to go to the hospital for gynecological examination, ultrasound examination, colposcopy, and then according to the results of the examination to do the appropriate symptomatic treatment.
