There is brown discharge in the fortieth day of pregnancy in the following cases: i. It may be due to low levels of HCG and progesterone in the woman’s body or poor quality of fertilized eggs leading to preterm abortion. Second, it may also be due to the presence of uterine fibroids, uterine malformations, and endometrial exfoliation caused by the embryo’s implantation into the endometrium that is not firm. Third, when ectopic pregnancy occurs, women may also have brown discharge and lower abdominal pain. When a woman has brown discharge, she should go to the hospital for gynecological ultrasound and blood test for HCG and progesterone. If the hormone level is reduced, she should be given bed rest and fetus preservation medication. If the embryo grows and develops well after fetal preservation, it should be observed temporarily and reviewed regularly.
