Cerebral aneurysm surgery, depending on the type of surgery and the state of the patient, the postoperative risk period is usually around 1 week to 2 weeks, with individual patients with more severe conditions needing a longer period. If the aneurysm is a cranial clamping aneurysm, the general postoperative risk period is about 2 weeks, usually because of the postoperative cerebral edema, and the time for the cerebral edema to subside is usually about 2 weeks. In the case of a ruptured aneurysm, the recovery period will be longer. In the case of interventional embolization, for unruptured aneurysms, the patient usually recovers well within a week or so after the procedure. In the case of interventional embolization for aneurysms that have already ruptured, the patient will need a longer period of time to absorb the hematoma in the brain after the procedure. Depending on the size of the hemorrhage, the period of risk varies, usually around 2 weeks, with individual patients with large amounts of hemorrhage needing 1 month or even longer.
