Contraindications to hysterosalpingography

Hysterosalpingography is widely used in clinical practice. However, there are contraindications to any test, for example, contraindications to hysterosalpingography are: 1) the patient’s reproductive tract is in acute or subacute infection; 2) the patient’s systemic diseases, such as heart and lung related diseases; 3) the patient’s normal delivery, miscarriage, cesarean section or within 6 weeks after delivery; 4) positive iodine allergy; 5) the patient’s uterus or cervix bleeding during menstruation; 6) the patient’s pregnancy cannot be ruled out. The timing of this test should be within 3-7 days after the menstruation is clean.
