Norfloxacin capsules generally treat urinary tract infections caused by bacteria to which it is sensitive.
Norfloxacin capsules belong to the quinolone class of antibiotics, mainly targeting gram-negative bacilli, which are the more common type of causative organisms for urinary tract infections. Norfloxacin can effectively inhibit the growth of gram-negative bacilli in the urinary tract and relieve urinary tract infections. Norfloxacin is more effective in treating bacterial infections, but it cannot effectively control non-bacterial pathogen infections, such as mycoplasma, chlamydia, fungi and so on.
