Does a convex face imply bony buck teeth?

A convex face does not necessarily mean that there are bony buck teeth. Whether or not a convex face means that there are bony buck teeth should be concluded based on the examination by a professional doctor.
Convex face is mainly caused by dental and maxillofacial deformity, there are dental buck teeth and bony buck teeth, bony buck teeth are more common, mostly manifested as open lips and teeth, open mouth can obviously see the teeth, the mouth can’t be completely closed under the natural state, the gums will be exposed when you smile, and if you force the mouth to be closed, the mouth will be obviously protruding, and the teeth will be misaligned.
Convex face does not determine whether it is a bony buck tooth, it needs to be combined with a lateral cephalometric film and a full mouth surface tomogram to determine. Orthodontic treatment and orthognathic surgery are available for convex faces. Orthodontic treatment requires the use of braces, and teeth can be slowly restored to their normal position. Orthodontic treatment should be done in a proper hospital, and a systemic examination should also be done to rule out systemic diseases.
