The heart does not usually shift after stenting and will gradually fuse with the surrounding blood vessels, while the duration of post-operative exercise varies depending on the intensity of the exercise and cannot be generalized. Cardiac stent implantation is performed by transporting a stent that can open a narrowed blood vessel through an arterial sheath to a designated location and placing it properly to treat the symptoms of a blockage. As the stent is placed, it gradually opens up the narrowed vessel, allowing it to be unblocked, while at the same time the stent wraps around the endothelium of the vessel, thereby holding it in place. Over time, the stent gradually fuses with the endothelium and therefore does not easily shift. There are three main stages of postoperative exercise rehabilitation: first, inpatient rehabilitation stage, generally 3-5 days after surgery, bedside activities can be performed, including passive activities, turning and sitting up, sitting alone at the bedside, walking at the bedside, walking in the corridor for 5-10 minutes, etc. Second, the outpatient rehabilitation phase, which usually starts 2-5 weeks after surgery, can be started with moderate daily walking and tai chi exercises under the condition of heart rate detection. Third, the community rehabilitation stage, maintain the existing activities, gradually increase the activities in moderation, and slowly transition to normal life. After cardiac stenting, pay attention to taking anticoagulant drugs regularly and quantitatively, and do not stop or change the drugs without authorization; pay attention to diet regulation, and prohibit high salt, high fat and high cholesterol diet to avoid re-clogging of blood vessels.
