The diagnosis of delayed cardia requires caution and needs to be differentiated from other cardia diseases or esophageal dynamic diseases, so high resolution esophageal manometry is a necessary test. Treatment is currently divided into endoscopic and surgical minimally invasive. Endoscopic treatment is recommended for myotomy, but long-term results are still uncertain. Endoscopic dilatation or endotoxin injection is not recommended for young patients and may create problems for later treatment. Laparoscopic myotomy is the classical surgical radical treatment method with safe and reliable results. Our hospital is fully equipped for esophageal dynamics and offers proven laparoscopic esophageal myotomy and anti-reflux treatment.
