How to reduce fever in ten-month-old babies

The younger the child, the more effective the physical cooling. Ten-month-old children are recommended to use physical cooling, such as ventilation, less clothing, less blankets, more water, and more urination to dissipate heat. If the effect is not good on the basis of physical cooling, you can take oral antipyretic drugs, such as ibuprofen, which can reduce fever quickly, but may lead to intestinal discomfort. Tylenol and Benadryl are composed of acetaminophen, which may act slightly slower, but with fewer intestinal side effects. The majority of children are better off with ibuprofen, but some are better off with Benadryl.
