The temperature of a 10-month-old baby is normal between 36°C and 37°C. This is our most commonly used axillary temperature, which is the temperature measured with a mercury column, but there are some other methods of measurement. Oral temperature measurement is generally at 37℃ as normal, for children who are clear and cooperative, usually above 6 years old. Another measurement is anal temperature, where a temperature of 36.5°C-37.5°C is normal and is indicated for uncooperative, comatose, or shocked patients. Ear temperature is measured with an ear thermometer, but it is relatively rare in clinical practice, and the axillary temperature is usually still the main measurement.
