3. Oral medication: Oral isotretinoin is suitable for nodular cystic acne, acne with excessive seborrhea, acne that is not well treated by other methods, as well as fulminant acne and coalescent acne. If acne is accompanied by inflammation, it can be treated with oral antibiotics such as minocycline.
4. Phototherapy: If the teenager’s acne has mild to moderate lesions, it can be combined with red and blue light irradiation treatment, which can reduce the inflammatory reaction of acne.
