High success rate of in vitro pregnancy

The success rate of IVF pregnancies is relatively high, with its average success rate being around 40%. IVF, or in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer, refers to the process of removing eggs from a woman’s ovaries, fertilizing them with sperm outside of the body and incubating them for 3 to 5 days, then transferring the embryos, which have developed to the cleavage sphere or blastocyst stage, into the uterine cavity where they will be implanted and develop into a fetus. IVF currently has an average success rate of about 40%. The success rate of IVF pregnancy is related to the patient’s age, sperm and egg quality, uterine lining, uterine environment, emotions, immune factors, etc. Women under the age of 30 can achieve a success rate of about 50%; women around 35 years old can achieve a success rate of about 40%; and women over 40 years old can achieve a success rate of about 20%.
