Right lung sclerosing foci are the chest X-ray manifestation of old lung lesions.
Right lung nodules are usually due to lung tissue damage from previous infections or non-infectious factors, and scarring of the lung tissue during the repair process, which can be visualized on chest X-ray. They do not have serious effects or consequences on the body and usually do not require special treatment.
Although most right lung sclerotic foci are benign lesions, they do require regular observation, and if the right lung sclerotic foci remain unchanged, they are referred to as stable solid nodules. If, during follow-up, the lesion changes, tends to expand, or even develops burr or lobulation, it usually suggests that the lesion may be malignant and requires prompt hospitalization for further examination.
It is recommended that patients should quit smoking and drinking, keep a relaxed mood, eat reasonably and develop healthy living habits.
