What kind of proprietary Chinese medicine to take for postural hypotension?

Hypotension belongs to the category of “dizziness” and “deficiency labor” in Chinese medicine. Postural hypotension is generally related to deficiency of qi and blood, yin deficiency, etc. Commonly used Chinese patent medicines in clinic are Shengmai Drink and Yiqi Nourishing Blood Oral Liquid.
1. Pulse Sheng Drink is composed of red ginseng, maitake and schizandra. It has the effect of benefiting qi, nourishing yin and generating body fluid. It is used for palpitation and shortness of breath caused by deficiency of qi and yin, and spontaneous sweating (involuntary sweating during the daytime, aggravated by sweating with slight movement). Not suitable for patients with fever and cold.
It has the effect of benefiting qi and nourishing blood. It is used for shortness of breath and palpitation, lack of color and weakness due to insufficiency of qi and blood. It is not suitable for patients with cold and fever; and should be taken with caution for those with deficiency cold and diarrhea.
If patients develop postural hypotension, they should rest immediately and restrict activities to prevent fainting and falling.
Patients with postural hypotension are advised to seek prompt medical attention. Do not take medication without authorization to avoid delay.
