Can rhinitis be cured?

This is a common question asked by outpatients. Patients usually refer to inflammatory nasal conditions collectively as rhinitis. This includes acute rhinosinusitis, chronic rhinosinusitis, allergic rhinitis, nasal polyps, etc. The treatment and course of treatment for each disease is completely different. Therefore, the question cannot be answered in a general way.

These diseases can occur individually or simultaneously. The treatment is not quite the same.

1. First of all, acute rhinosinusitis. Usually the cold is also known as a cold, acute rhinitis. Now I think acute rhinitis and acute sinusitis cannot be completely separated. So acute rhinosinusitis is another name for a cold. Now this question can be answered by the patient himself. Acute rhinosinusitis does not talk about the root cause, but only about the treatment. Usually the books say that a cold can cure itself, I think that is a mild cold can cure itself. Severe colds require treatment to be cured for a short time.

2, chronic rhinosinusitis. Severe cold, that is, severe acute rhinosinusitis if not given timely formal treatment, it is easy to extend to chronic rhinosinusitis. The longer the time lasts, the greater the duration and difficulty of chronic sinusitis treatment. However, most of the chronic rhinosinusitis can be achieved through regular treatment to achieve good control of symptoms and significantly improve the quality of life.

The difficulty of treatment requires repeatedly returning to the hospital several times to review and adjust the medication, and adjusting the medication several times according to changes in the condition. It is difficult to treat patients in the field. No time for regular treatment.

3. Allergic rhinitis. This is a worldwide problem. It is also a hot issue in medicine at present. At present, I think all the treatment is not yet sure that the disease can be cured, only relief is not simple.

4, nasal polyps. After using endoscopy, nasal polyps can achieve the purpose of eradication. However, nasal polyps with allergic rhinitis are very prone to recurrence.
