What is the pain in the neck?

In daily life, patients often experience pain in the neck area. Clinically, there are many conditions that can cause this phenomenon. The most common ones are the occurrence of fasciitis in the back of the neck due to chronic strain, trauma, and cold, or cervical collar ligamentitis or interspinous ligamentitis, which can cause neck pain and also affect the functional activities of the neck. In addition, if a patient suffers from cervical spondylosis, pain in the neck and back will also occur due to the spinal cord being stimulated and compressing the nerve roots, along with symptoms such as tingling and hyperalgesia in the skin of both upper limbs. Therefore, when this condition occurs clinically, the patient should first be instructed to rest in bed, and local braking may be given, or traditional Chinese medicine massage may be used. After the above treatment, this pain phenomenon will be gradually relieved, patients should not dispose of themselves and blindly massage, so as not to aggravate the condition.
