Is a 10cm tumor in the liver necessarily advanced?

Tumors growing on the liver are also classified into benign tumors and malignant tumors depending on the nature of the pathology. Generally, a tumor of 10 cm is a huge tumor, but it is not always an advanced liver cancer. It may also be a benign lesion, such as a huge hemangioma of the liver or a huge cyst on the liver, which is more than 10 cm or larger. Many benign lesions have no obvious symptoms, and even if they grow very large, patients may not feel any discomfort, and may have slight right upper abdominal distension and pain, but they are all tolerable, and further examination such as enhanced CT or ultrasound of the liver can detect huge occupancy. If there is no elevation of tumor marker AFP, it indicates that it is more likely to be benign, but the diagnosis depends on pathological examination.
