What is pelvic rotation syndrome?

Pelvic rotation syndrome, referred to as pelvic shift syndrome, is the core theory of the chiropractic system of the spine and pelvis. Its main pathology is the misalignment of the small joints of the pelvis due to the relaxation of the muscles of the pelvis and low back, or the presence of some rotations and other pathologies that cause pelvic-sacral pain. According to incomplete statistics, the main causes of pelvic-sacral pain are lumbar disc herniation and pelvic rotation, which together account for 60%-70% of patients with pain. A herniated lumbar disc alone may cause 10% of the patients’ pain, while a simple pelvic shift may account for about 10%-20% of the pain. Pelvic rotational displacement can occur when the corresponding part of the pelvis is rotated or twisted incorrectly, and pain occurs with localized movement.
