How to treat hemorrhagic fever

Hemorrhagic fever refers to epidemic hemorrhagic fever, which is an infectious disease caused by hantavirus. So first the causal treatment, which is the antiviral treatment, can be applied with ribavirin. Patients with hemorrhagic fever need to be hospitalized, so it is also applied intravenously, and the dosage for adults is 1 g/d. Other treatments are basically symptomatic, with different regimens for different stages of the disease, with blood volume supplementation during hypotensive shock to maintain blood pressure and organ function, and diuresis during oliguria, during which supportive treatment is needed for some people, which is the application of dialysis to temporarily replace the kidney’s function. In the polyuric phase, attention is paid to electrolyte balance and prevention of secondary bacterial infections.
