The standardized treatment of ovarian cancer includes standardized surgery, which includes full-stage surgery or ovarian cancer tumor cell reduction surgery, and six courses of paclitaxel plus carboplatin chemotherapy are routinely applied after surgery. After the completion of treatment, we require a review every 3 months for 2 years, every 6 months for 2-5 years, and every year for more than 5 years. During the review, if elevated tumor markers, such as CA125 and CA199, are found, the recurrence or metastasis of ovarian cancer is highly suspected, and further ultrasound or CT or MRI or PET CT examinations will be performed at this time. After the abnormal tumor markers appear, further imaging examinations can determine whether ovarian cancer is definite recurrence or metastasis.
